Dwayne Bell
Dwayne and his wife Elizabeth, have attended Harvest for two years. They grew up in Arkansas and attended the University of Arkansas, where they met. After four years of active duty in the Air Force, they returned to Arkansas where Dwayne flew fighters in the AR National Guard and was a pilot for American Airlines.
He is now retired and enjoying a new chapter of kingdom life and adventures like backcountry flying, writing, and photography. They enjoy traveling, reading, riding bikes, cabin time, and spending time with their adult children. They are involved in the Harvest community in community groups, prayer groups, and individual mentoring.
Dwayne has two life verses. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight” (Proverbs 3:5-6). Secondly, “I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing” (John 15:5). Elizabeth’s life verse is: “For I know whom I have believed and I am convinced that He is able to guard what I have entrusted to Him until that day” (2 Timothy 1:12b). As of late Dwayne loves: “The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it, but I do not know where it comes from and where it is going; so is everyone who is born of the Spirit” (John 3:8).
