Kevin and his wife, Hilary, have lived in Fayetteville since 2013. They have three children, Kelsey Onnen (married to Jake), Bo, and CJ.

He has been a family pastor, lived in and served organizations in Kenya, and launched a missions organization focused on Guatemala, Kenya, Uganda, and Scotland.
